Vision

The Capiz State University is as an institution of higher learning, imbued with ideals committed to quality research, extension and entrepreneurship geared towards the attainment of academic excellence, sustainable development and global competitiveness.

Mission

The University shall provide advanced instruction and professional training in agriculture, fishery and forestry, science and technology, arts and humanities, education and other related fields.  It shall also undertake research, extension services and production activities and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.

Objectives of the CapSU Graduate School

The Capiz State University Graduate School seeks to—

• foster a deeper, broader, and updated knowledge and skills in the student’s field of specialization and stimulate enthusiasm for continued professional growth;
• afford opportunities for leadership training in agriculture, technical & educational fields;
• provide highly qualified manpower in line with government & non-government thrusts for rural development;
• stimulate and maintain a functional and relevant research programs and activities for the generation & advancement of the frontiers of knowledge; and
• serve as a channel for the conservation, transmission and extension of knowledge for the enrichment of the cultural heritage.
